Alexis has recently gotten involved with a non-profit organization called Gentle Village. To help with their fundraising efforts, Alexis wrote a song for use in their promotion and advertising. The song, "Gentle Village" can be heard on the player above. The organization offers place to live, life skills training and job seeking help to young people, 18-25, who come out of the foster care system. The evening of Michael Jackson's death, Alexis was inspired to write and record a tribute song for him, based on the impact his music and his passion for his music had on her. Listen to "Indiana Son" here.


May 2009, a couple of years ago, Alexis wrote and recorded the song "Dont Call It Love" with a rock band she was singing with. Because of the song's popularity, she decided to re-record it for an upcoming solo project. We've posted a sample clip above from this new version.

January 2009, as scheduled, Alexis is stepping aside as lead singer for her band to focus primarily on her solo projects and allow them to pursue a more permanent situation.

Chenoa/EMI will be débuting the 2008 re-release of American Christmas featuring a re-mix of “Winter Wonderland,” as well as her own original entitled “An American Christmas,” the title track for the album.

Alexis recently completed writing and recording an origial song to be used by the non-profit youth advocacy organization The First Tee. She will be performing the song live for the organization's 2009 national Network Meeting in February of next year.



"Winter Wonderland" is now on the new Idol holiday compilation, "American Christmas," available at various retail outlets and on iTunes.


Alexis has a new holiday recording of "Winter Wonderland." It was recorded and mixed it in only 3 days. She also played the basic guitar tracks herself.


Alexis is performing as lead singer and recording for a new band. The band has taken some of Alexis' original songs and put them in overdrive with more edgy guitar than her typical style.
